GOT CHEATED

East Hartford, Connecticut (SafeCITY) - Antonio Recinos, a 35-year-old Connecticut man was jailed after he allegedly complained to police that he had been cheated in a cocaine purchase.

According to police, Recinos called 911 to report that he had purchased about .4 grams of cocaine for $40 earlier in the evening. He explained to the dispatcher that he felt that he didn't receive a fair amount of the drug for what he paid, and wished to file a report.

While on the line with the dispatcher, Recinos spotted a police officer on patrol and decided to take his case up with the officer.

Investigators say Recinos showed the officer a clear plastic bag with a white powder inside and complained that it was not an adequate amount of cocaine for the price he paid.

The substance was later tested and confirmed as cocaine.

Recinos was arrested and booked into jail on a charge of possession of narcotics.
