ROBBING HOOD

Columbus, Ohio (SafeCITY) – An unidentified Ohio man, held up a bank then proceeded to give part of the loot away to two women he encountered during his get-away.

According to the Columbus Police Department, the unknown man showed the teller a gun in his waistband while robbing the Huntington Bank. The teller gave the man money and he ran out of the bank.

Investigators say the man ran between a mother and daughter who were window shopping and gave them each $100.

The woman asked the robber if the money was real and he replied “I can assure you that it is.”

The women went to the bank to see if the money was real, but found the doors were locked because of the robbery. They told police what had happened and handed over the money.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
