BLEACH JOB


Spartanburg, S.C. (SafeCITY) - William Hollis Jr., a 30-year-old South Carolina man was jailed after he allegedly poured bleach down his girlfriend's throat.

According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, deputies responding to a domestic disturbance call arrived to find a woman vomiting after an apparent struggle with Hollis.

The woman told investigators that Hollis, who is father to two of her children, struck her in the face and head. He then reportedly held her down as he poured bleach down her throat.

Investigators found large amounts of bleach throughout the home and the couple's two children (ages 2 and 8) were found with bleach splashed across their clothing and skin.

The woman reportedly refused medical attention for herself and her children.

Hollis was booked into jail on a charge of aggravated criminal domestic violence. He was released the next day on a $2,500 bond.
