TOLL TO TROLLS


Wesley Chapel, (SafeCITY) – 27-year-old Jimmy Lee Morris, 18-year-old Dylan Patrick O’Shea, and 24-year-old Christopher L. Johnson, three transients were jailed after they allegedly attempted to force a man to “pay a toll to the troll”.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, a man who is employed with Wesley Chapel Toyota, walked to get a burger on his lunch break. On his way back, he ran into a group of transients at a vacant gas station.

Three men and a few women started harassing the victim. Morris told the man that he was a troll and he would have to pay a toll to cross the “bridge”, according to investigators

When O’Shea began to pry a metal bar from the ground, the victim dropped his burger and ran, then called the sheriff’s office.

O’Shea, Morris, and Johnson were booked into the Pasco County Jail and charged with strong arm robbery. Johnson was also charged with obstructing police. Morris and O’Shea are being held in lieu of $10,000 bail. Johnson’s bail was set at $10,150.
