Casper, WY (SafeCITY) - Stacy Lee McLaughlin, a 40-year-old Montana woman pleaded not guilty to charges she had sex with a 13-year-old boy in an outhouse while on a camping trip to a Wyoming camp ground.
According to Natrona County prosecutors, McLaughlin was camping with a group of people at Alcova Lake last August when she allegedly got busy with one of the kids.
Investigators say the boy's parents had gone to bed when McLaughlin began french kissing a 13-year-old boy and touching him in a sexual way. She then allegedly took the boy to a nearby outhouse, locked the door and proceeded to perform a sex act on him.
Another adult at the campground who was in the ladies side of the latrine told investigators that she heard the sound of a belt clicking and a zipper rustling through the wall of the men's side of the latrine. When the boy left the outhouse, she looked inside and found McLaughlin, who said she and the boy "were only making out."
Natrona County Sheriff's deputies took McLaughlin into custody, after completing a two-month long investigation.
McLaughlin, who reportedly has six kids of her own, was booked into jail on a charge of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor. She was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
