Newark, New Jersey - Shaheed Wright, a 25-year-old New Jersey man was arrested Friday after hiding cocaine in his son's jacket, telling him it was candy. The 4-year-old boy took the cocaine to day care and shared it with his friends.

According to New Jersey police, a 4-year-old boy shared cocaine with his friends at day care after his father told him it was candy.

Investigators say Wright hid several baggies of cocaine in the boy's jacket after police nearly caught him with it. When the boy arrived at day care, he removed the cocaine from his pockets and shared it with his friends.

A teacher first became aware of the incident when she spotted a girl with a baggie in her mouth. She called police after noticing the girl had eaten a white powdery substance.

The girl, Wright's son and two other boys were rushed to Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark. The children were all treated and released without complications.

Wright was booked into jail on four counts of child endangerment and drug possession charges.
