Spring Hill, Florida (SafeCITY) - Anita Lewis, a 55-year-old Florida woman was jailed after she told deputies she drank a half pitcher of beer and one "leg spreader" shot.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, a deputy pulled Lewis over after she apparently missed a turn and drove onto the grassy road shoulder on the opposite side of the street.

When the deputy approached the drivers side of the car, he encountered Lewis, who smelled strongly of alcohol, had blurry speech and bloodshot eyes.

When the deputy asked how much she had to drink, Lewis replied that she had consumed a half pitcher of Bud Light and one "Leg Spreader" shot. She also told the deputy that her vehicle was unregistered, so she was using a "friends" automobile tag.

The deputy conducted a field sobriety test, which Lewis allegedly failed.

She was booked into the Hernando County Jail on charges of DUI (third violation), driving while suspended, failure to register a motor vehicle and attaching a fraudulent registration license. Her bond was set at $2,300.
