Austin, Texas (SafeCITY) - Johnathan Washburn, a 23-year-old Texas man was jailed after he allegedly beat another man with his skateboard because the man had taken a photograph of his three-pronged Mohawk.

According to police, the victim told officers he was out photographing "anything that was remotely interesting or unusual" when he spotted Washburn's Mohawk and snapped a photograph of it.

Timothy Beard, a 19-year-old man with Washburn, told the photographer to delete the image from his camera. When the man refused, Beard grabbed his his $100 Oakley sunglasses.

Investigators say the victim attempted to get his sunglasses back, but was stopped when Washburn picked up a skateboard and cracked him in the head with it.

Washburn and Beard were later found by police at a nearby bar. Police were able to recover the sunglasses and take the two men into custody.

Washburn was booked into the Travis County Jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Beard was charged with felony theft. Both men were still incarcerated as of Thursday afternoon.
