SHE LIKES TEENS

Kissimmee, Florida (SafeCITY) - Rosemary Mowls, a 41-year-old registered sex offender was jailed after she allegedly failed to inform authorities of a change of address on three separate occasions.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, Mowls was apprehended at her home on Sawdust Trail after deputies learned she moved from her previous residence on Hoagland Avenue to her new home without informing authorities.

Investigators say Mowls' sex offender status was established after she was arrested for the lewd and lascivious assault of a 16-year-old boy. She was released after serving a 6-month sentence.

In 1999, she failed to notify Osceola County authorities about her sexual-offender conviction, then lied to police and attempted to give a false name. She served 13 months in jail for that incident. She was arrested again in 2005 for possession of cocaine and for failing to report her sexual-offender status yet again, and served four more years in prison.

Mowls was booked into the Osceola County Jail and charged with with failing to register her sex-offender status with law-enforcement officials. She is being held without bond.
