Fairfield, CT (SafeCITY) - Dane Eisenman, a 57-year-old Connecticut man was arrested after he attempted to buy a gun in preparation for an alien invasion.
According to Fairfield Police, Eisenman was taken into custody about a month after purchasing a .30-06 rifle that he found advertised in a classified ad.
Investigators became suspicious of the transaction after the rifle's seller told police Eisenman mentioned that he planned to use the rifle to "kill aliens."
Eisenman reportedly told the seller he wanted to be prepared for an alien invasion. He went on to say aliens, who live under the sun, come to Earth every 30,000 years to kill humans.
After performing a background check, investigators learned Eisenman is a convicted felon, who as such, is prohibited from buying or possessing a firearm. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
Eisenman was booked into jail on a charge of criminal possession of a firearm. He was released on a signature bond
