Gastonia, North Carolina (SafeCITY) - Kelly Michelle Ray, a 32-year-old Gastonia woman was allegedly arrested and charged with DUI twice within two hours time.
According to Gastonia police, Ray was stopped by officers around 2:40 a.m Sunday for not having a light illuminating her license plate. Ray submitted to a breath test which resulted in a .015 BAC - nearly twice the legal limit.
Investigators say Ray was picked up by her boyfriend after she was booked and released on an unsecured bond.
She was stopped again about two hours later after an officer observed her crossing the center line of a two-way road. She blew a 0.10 Blood alcohol level this time and was arrested again.
Ray was booked into jail and charged with two counts of driving while impaired. She was ordered to be held until she sobered up. Her bond was set at $5,000.
Our usual case research turned up some interesting background info on our girl. It seems that Ray is a performer who's alter ego goes by the name 'The Bombshell'. Her acts include everything from blood-gurgling freakazoid stage shows to goth-lesbian scream queen movies.
In other words.... she's right up our ally in a benevolent train-wreck sort of way
