NAKED DRUNK

Prescott Valley, AZ (SafeCITY) – Kenneth Hook, a 41-year-old Prescott Valley man was jailed after he allegedly fled naked from police after a stop for suspected DUI.

According to Prescott Valley police, Hook was stopped by a K9 officer for speeding. The officer suspected that Hook was intoxicated and took him into custody.

Hook told the officer that he had a seizure disorder, and he was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center East Campus for treatment.

The officer left the hospital for a short time, and when he returned to finish his investigation, he saw Hook walk out of the ambulance entrance, wearing only his hospital gown.

When the officer tried to speak to hook, he ran full-sprint into a barbed-wire fence and flipped over it, which ripped off his gown, leaving him completely nude.

Hook then ran naked and fancy-free through an open field, only to be caught a short time later by the officer. He suffered only minor cuts from the fence.

Hook was booked into the Camp Verde Jail and charged with DUI impaired to the slightest degree and DUI at 0.08 or higher. Bond information was not available.
