Arlington, Virginia - Thomas Patrick McMahon, a 34-year-old police officer was arrested after a woman returned home to find him sleeping in her bed.
According to Arlington police, a woman returned home around 1 a.m. to find McMahon passed out in her bed.
McMahon, who is employed as a Capitol Police officer was determined to be intoxicated by investigators who came to remove him from the residence. He was unarmed and was taken into custody without further incident.
Investigators say the victim did not know McMahon and had never seen him before.
McMahon was charged with unlawful entry and was placed on administrative leave pending an investigation and criminal proceedings of the charges.
