Wewahitchka, Florida - Jack Davila, a 40-year-old Florida man was arrested after he wandered nude into a family's home, entered a child's bedroom and then began talking to imaginary people.
According to the Gulf County Sheriff's Office, Devila was first discovered naked by a 13-year-old girl who said she awoke to find Devila sitting on her bed.
Investigators say Davila told the girl he was supposed to be there, but since she was already there, he would leave. He then wandered into the family's bathroom where he began talking to imaginary people.
After the family dog began barking, the little girl's mother, 33-year-old Kyra Burch, was alerted and took her children outside until authorities could arrive.
According to the arrest report, Davila told investigators that he was at the home for "a pool party," despite there being no pool at the residence. He then told investigators he was at the home to attend a bonfire.
A few days later, Davila told investigators and a circuit court judge he had taken the sleep aid Ambien and must have have been sleepwalking.
He was booked into the Gulf County Jail on charges of trespassing and indecent exposure. He was later released without bond.
