Kingsport, Tennessee (SafeCITY) - Wanona Zurn, a 58-year-old Tennessee woman was jailed after she allegedly drove drunk at the one place on earth she shouldn't have. A police station parking lot.
According to Kingsport Police, officers were alerted when dispatch received a call of a reckless woman who had pulled into the Kingsport Justice Center parking lot.
As an officer was on his way out to the parking lot to see what the commotion was about, he encountered two individuals who told him the woman nearly ran over a pedestrian as she sailed through the parking lot in her Buick Lesabre.
The officer didn't have to go much further to find Zurn who admitted to drinking alcohol and taking "several medications." When Zurn bombed a field sobriety test, she didn't have far to go for arraignment.
Zurn was booked jail into jail on a charge of DUI
