Jenson Beach, FL - Tatum A. Kelley, a 23-year-old Florida woman was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly went on an underwear safari - stealing more than $3,000 in Victoria's Secret merchandise.
According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office Kelley reportedly admitted to stealing thousands of dollars in underwear and other merchandise, beginning in December, 2008.
Investigators say Kelley stole $900 worth of bras, $340 worth of panties, $550 worth of gift sets and over a thousand dollars in make up and other store goods. She also allegedly stole a device which is used to remove shoplifting alert sensors.
The alleged theft came to light when a manager at the Treasure Coast Square Mall told deputies an employee had been stealing from the store.
Kelley reportedly apologized, stating that she made a mistake and was willing to pay everything back. She was booked into jail on charges of grand theft. Bail amount is unknown
