Springfield, Ohio (SafeCITY) - Karen Saum, a 48-year-old Ohio woman has been arrested on a charge of stealing valuable bull semen.

According to the Clark County Sheriff's Office, deputies received a complaint late last month that someone had stolen a liquid nitrogen storage tank that contained a large amount of frozen bull semen. The contents of the tank have been valued at more than $110,000, according to a Genetic Connections company spokesperson.

Deputies served a search warrant at the woman's where they discovered the missing tank. Saum told investigators that she planned to return the tank to the bull's owner in exchange for help in starting a business of her own.

She was booked into the Clark County Jail on a charge of theft.
