THEY'RE MINE!

Naples, Florida (SafeCITY) - Kimberly Hammes Frank, a 47-year-old Wisconsin woman was jailed after she allegedly approached a woman and her three children, grabbed two of the children and claimed "these are my children!"

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, a woman and her three children were playing in the water at Clam Pass Beach when Frank approached them.

Investigators say Frank grabbed the arms of two of the children, a 4-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl, and then shouted "These are my kids Mattie and Meredith."

The children's father, who heard his wife shouting, ran to the water and asked his wife what was going on. She explained what happened and that Frank would not release the children from her grasp, according to the arrest affidavit.

The husband was reportedly forced to pry Frank's hands loose of his children because she would not let go willingly. The children suffered scratches to their arms, necks and shoulders as a result. The couple's third child, who is 8-year-old, was also scratched in the altercation.

A woman, who was sitting on the beach nearby, also witnessed the incident and gave a statement to deputies.

Frank was booked into the Collier County Jail on three counts of child abuse.
