PARTY TIME

Elmwood Place, Ohio (SafeCITY) - Ramon Marcela-Hernandez, a 26-year-old Ohio man was jailed after he went to his 3-year-old daughter's birthday party and sparked a 75 person brawl.

According to police, a 3-year-old girl's birthday party turned into a massive 75 person brawl after the little girl's biological father came to the party and allegedly made a pass at the child's mother, which angered the woman's new husband.

Investigators say Hernandez and the woman's new husband began fighting about 1 a.m., and it wasn't long before 75 other people jumped into the brawl, throwing tables, chairs and bottles. Approximately 30 of the 150 people in attendance were children.

When officers first arrived on the scene, 911 dispatchers received another emergency call. The caller stated the obvious. "You're gonna need a lot more cops than you have now. At least 15 people are bleeding."

Investigators say five people were cut deeply enough to require stitches, while another man was stabbed in the eye with a broken bottle. Bottles were reportedly the weapon of choice among most of the brawlers.

Marcela-Hernandez was booked into jail on a charge of disorderly conduct.
