DORA THE EXPLORER

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (SafeCITY Publishing) - Oklahoma couple Cecil Martin, 34 and Melissa Martin, 34, was jailed after police stopped their vehicle to discover a meth lab stashed inside their daughter's Dora The Explorer back pack.

According to Broken Arrow Police, an officer stopped the couple after noticing the vehicle didn't have a license tag and had a burned out light. Along for the ride were the couple's two children (ages 1 and 2) and a Dora The Explorer back pack.

Investigators say the officer approached the vehicle and detected the odor of burned marijuana. After asking the family to exit the vehicle, a search was performed with turned up far more than marijuana.

Detectives say the back pack contained all the major ingredients necessary to manufacture methamphetamine. Some of the items recovered included Liquid Drano, lighter fluid, pseudo-ephedrine pills and a small amount of marijuana.

Cecil and Melissa Martin were booked into the Tulsa Jail on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, child endangerment and marijuana possession. They are currently being held without bond.

Cecil Martin, who has prior convictions for drug possession, is currently on probation for offenses committed in Muskogee County.
