Stoughton, Massachusetts (SafeCITY) - Richard P. Bennett, a 28-year-old former Stoughton police officer turned in his badge last monthafter he allegedly went to see "The World's Smallest Porn Star" while on duty.
According to Stoughton police, Bennett reportedly went inside Alex's Gentleman's Club to watch "Bridget the Midget," a 3-feet nine-inch tall stripper/porn star, perform her act. He also arranged to be photographed with her outside the club while on duty and in uniform.
Investigators say Bennett also had an unapproved laser scope installed on his department-issued .40-caliber Glock, which he attempted to deny.
Bennett was honored recently by the department for his part in capturing an accused killer.
Bridget "The Midget" Powers, who advertises herself as "The World's Smallest Porn Star", has been featured in several pornographic and mainstream films such as “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” and “8 mm.”
The 29-year-old woman has been a guest on The Howard Stern Show and will be returning to Alex’s Club at the end of August to perform six shows, according to the club's advertisement.
