Bethany, New York (SafeCITY) - Duane Bush, a 61-year-old New York man was jailed after he allegedly drove drunk for 11 miles without a tire.
According to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office, a motorist contacted deputies after watching Bush continue to drive - weaving back and forth for miles - after a tire had fallen off the van he was driving.
Investigators say deputies caught up with Bush who had allegedly driven 11 miles without a rear right tire. When deputies checked the man's license, they discovered that it had been expired for 33 years.
Deputies also determined Bush' blood-alcohol level to be three times higher than the legal limit of .08%
Bush was booked into the Genesee County Jail on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving without a valid license.
