Lorain, Ohio (SafeCITY) - Stacy Galvan, a 32-year-old Ohio woman was jailed Christmas eve after police found her and her three underage children drunk - One juvenile was found floundering in his own vomit.
According to Lorain Police, officers were dispatched on a report of intoxicated juveniles out of control.
Police arrived at Galvan's apartment to find her arguing with her 12-year-old twin son and daughter. Galvan was visibly intoxicated with slurred speech and reeking of alcohol.
When investigators attempted to ask her what all the shouting was about, she stated that she could no longer handle the children and that they are the reason she is an alcoholic.
While police were taking her statement, officers heard a voice crying from a bedroom inside the apartment. When officers entered the bedroom, they found Galvan's 13-year-old son laying in a puddle of vomit - drifting in and out of consciousness. He was taken by Lifecare Ambulance to a local hospital.
The twins told police they had only had one drink but stated their mother and older brother had been drinking all night. They were later released into the custody of their grandmother.
Galvan was booked into the Lorain County Jail on three counts of endangering children. After her arrest, she reportedly vomited in the backseat of the police cruiser and then later urinated on herself at the police station.
