Boulder, Colorado (SafeCITY) - Glenn Ford, a 55-year-old Colorado man, was arrested after police found him standing nude on the side of a highway with a woman's thong panties over his head.
According to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Ford was standing naked on an off-ramp during the afternoon rush hour.
Ford appeared to be intoxicated and refused to put on the clothing he had stashed nearby. Officers had to tie a jacket around his waist before putting him in a patrol car.
Investigators say Ford is a known transient and is the first person arrested under Boulder's new public nudity law. The new ordinance prohibits public nudity and carries a fine of up to $1,000 and/or 90 days in jail.
Ford was booked into the Boulder County Jail on charges of suspicion of violating Boulder's ordinance prohibiting public nudity. His bond was set at $250.
