Mesa, Arizona (SafeCITY) - Robert Gray, a convicted sex offender who allegedly violated his probation by failing to register was jailed during Operation Safe Treat.
According to the U.S. Marshals Office, investigators had been looking for Gray for two months when he was nabbed during a police sting that aimed to follow up on sex offenders who were not following the terms of their probation.
Gray, who believes he is a vampire, sleeps in a coffin and even has fangs as dental implants, hissed at officers when they tried to arrest him. He was one of about 30 fugitives that were captured during the operation.
Gray was convicted and ordered to register as a sex offender after molesting an underage girl.
