DOGS GOT LOOSE

Webster, Mass (SafeCITY) - James Johnson, a 50-year-old Massachusetts man was arrested after he allegedly crashed his truck into a house and then blamed the accident on "dogs running loose" in his truck. Dog's that never existed, that is.

According to Webster Police, Johnson had been drunk driving around 9:30 p.m. when he reportedly lost control of his truck and crashed into a Webster resident's house.

Johnson's truck was reportedly found stalled on the home owner's front steps with a visibly intoxicated Johnson at the scene.

When officers asked Johnson if he'd been drinking, he reportedly told them that his brother had been drinking. When they asked him how he lost control of his vehicle, he claimed that dogs had gotten loose inside the truck, making him crash.

Police determined that there were no dogs involved.

Johnson, who sported a Senior Frog's t-shirt for his mugshot, was booked into jail on charges of drinking under the influence, violating a marked lane, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and destruction of property.
