Grover Beach, California (SafeCITY) - Manuel Heredia Hernandez, a 36-year-old Grover Beach man, was arrested after police allegedly found him hiding in a cardboard box in his ex-wife's closet.
According to San Luis Obispo sheriff's, Hernandez already had 4 restraining orders against him when his ex-wife called police to report that he may be hiding in her attic.
Police say the victim allegedly received text messages from the hidden Hernandez describing the inside of her home.
Officers say the woman called police for assistance a little after 8am. Hernandez was reportedly found inside a cardboard box used for laundry in the woman's closet.
Hernandez, who is on probation for a previous domestic violence case, was booked into jail and charged with felony suspicion of burglary and possession of burglary tools. Additional charges of violating a restraining order may be pending. Bond has been set at $50,000.
