Iowa City, Iowa (SafeCITY) - James Russell Hirt, a 67-year-old Iowa City man, was jailed after he allegedly fondled himself in front of an Arby's restaurant.
According to Iowa City Police, witnesses reported that Hirt was laying in the grass outside of Arby's at Gateway One Plaza with his pants pulled down, directly looking at them as he "did his thing".
Hirt was reportedly seen leaving the scene in an RV heading eastbound when officers caught up with the vehicle and placed him into custody. He denied the allegations.
Hirt was booked into the Johnson County Jail and charged with indecent exposure. He is being held on a $2,500 cash-only bond.
