Short Pump, Virginia (SafeCITY) - Franchesca Edwards, a 25-year-old Virginia woman was arrested after she was discovered naked in an elevator with a weapon.
According to Henrico County Police, an employee of the Hilton Hotel & Spa in Short Pump called police after discovering a lone, naked woman in one of the hotel's elevators.
Investigators say the woman was discovered when a maintenance worker heard screaming and other strange noises coming from the elevator. When the doors opened, he was surprised to find Edwards standing naked and alone.
Edwards then drew a gun and threatened the employee with it when he refused to leave. The gun was later determined to be a cap gun.
Edwards was booked into the Enrico jail on charges of indecent exposure and brandishing a weapon. She made an initial appearance in Henrico General District Court and remains in jail pending a May hearing.
