DeFuniak Springs, FL (SafeCITY) - David Dossey, a 49-year-old Florida man was arrested on charges he assaulted family members and then pointed a gun at them after they reportedly refused to clean house.
According to the Walton County Sheriff's Office, Dossey became angry and began throwing things around the house when his wife refused to help him clean house.
Investigators say Dossey admitted to punching his wife with a closed fist and then beating her with a shoe. He then reportedly punched his son in the face.
When family members still refused his demands, Dossey allegedly pointed a gun at his wife and son before discharging the weapon in a hallway inside the home.
The woman and boy were bruised, but not seriously injured in the brawl.
Dossey was booked into the Walton County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon, aggravated battery and battery. His bond was set at $100,000.
