VANILLA TIPSY

Arlington, Tenn. (SafeCITY) - Kelly Moss, a 48-year-old Tennessee woman, was jailed after she allegedly got plastered with vanilla extract.

According to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of a woman who appeared suspiciously slumped over the steering wheel of a car parked in the Arlington Middle School parking lot.

When deputies approached the vehicle, they reportedly found Moss so intoxicated that her speech was slurred and she was unable to stand or walk without assistance.

She was reportedly unable to perform a field sobriety test and was non-compliant when asked to submit to a breath test. Her breath was reported as having a strong odor of...vanilla.

Deputies recovered two partially emptied bottles of vanilla extract and a Diet coke from her vehicle. A receipt was also recovered from the car showing a recent purchase of two 8-ounce bottles of vanilla extract.

Moss was booked into jail on charges of driving while intoxicated and refusing to submit to a blood-alcohol test. Her bond was set at $4,000.

The arrest marks Moss' third arrest for DUI.
